Welcome to Engineer4Engineer Forum
Chemical engineering largely involves the design, improvement and maintenance of processes, chemical engineers work with chemists and other engineers to transform small scale lab processes to large scale manufacturing processes, chemical engineers notmally employed in industry under process engineers, they also trobleshoot any problems that can happen in a chemical process.
Chemical engineering in university is a mixture of physics, chemistry and maths.
Chemical engineers study materials but not in depth as a material engineer.
Material engineering involve the study of the relationships between properties, structure, processing and performance.
